PHOTO DIARY

I have set myself the task of compiling a photo diary to capture certain moments in my life. Not only is this to motivate me as a photographer to get a really great shot, but also to constantly be aware, thankful, and mindful of my surroundings. I want my days to count. I want to be able to look back and have my emotions evoked by my images. I will also be documenting where the photo was taken, what I was doing, and the type of equipment I used. Enjoy! There's something about this image that I just love. The man's expression, his outfit, the shape and lines. This was taken in Budapest on a sunny summers day.

Like the previous image, this was also taken in Germany at the Eagle's nest. I love creating really vivid and dreamlike landscapes that attract the eye.

Day 152

This image was taken from the Eagle's Nest (Hitler's Mountain retreat) on Kehlstein mountain, overlooking Berchtesgaden in Germany. It was such a strange experience being in one of Hitler's houses, knowing I was standing somewhere where he once would have stood. The view was absolutely phenomenal. I played around on lightroom to give this image a dreamscape like feel.
